2003 Silverado, 1500HD, crew cab, 4WD, 6.0ltr, automatic, 190,000 miles. Engine runs smooth at idle and through all rpm ranges. Engine lacks power through all rpm ranges. Check engine light will never illuminate when pulling my 30' camper, engine has no power. When driving with no load, CEL will illuminate, no change in how the engine runs. CEL will illuminate at any engine rpm or speed, any temp or weather condition, whether using the cruise control or not. Sometimes I can drive a few miles or 1 day before the CEL illuminates. My code is always P0332, knock sensor 2, circuit low bank 2. I have replaced both knock sensors, knock sensor harness, used dielectric grease on all connections, sealed the harness boots so no water can get in and replaced the intake manifold gaskets. I torqued the intake correctly. I am a Diesel tech of 26 years. This issue is a butt kicker for me as I have heard it is for other's as well. Please HELP! Thank you!

 

did you use OEM knock sensors?

 

I did not. I purchased 2 knock sensor from NAPA with the 3 year warranty and also purchased the harness from there also. The sensors are Delphi brand.
