Default LS Swap

Hell Everyone thanks for the help ahead of time. I have a wrecked 2003 chevy 1500 2wd with the 5.3 the trunk still runs great, but it was wrecked. so body is no good. I purchased a 2005 Chevy 1500 2wd yesterday for $600 complete truck it was a great deal couldnt turn it down only bad thing is... it has the 4.3 that dont run. I wanna put my 5.3 in the 2005. I know theres a good bit of work that comes with it. question is since i have a complete 5.3 motor computer and all will there be anything else i have to purchase to do the swap? and the motor mounts are diffrent from the 4.3 to the 5.3 do the motor mounts bolt to the frame? will i have to buy new ones and weld them on? will i have to hope and pray i put the 5.3 motor mounts in the right place or will there be holes already there since the 05 come with the 5.3l package too? or should i leave motor on the fram its on now and take the tiome and just change body and all from my 05? Any and all help is appreciated

I am almost 100% sure this swap will work. But I could be wrong because its two different years. You may run into problem with fuel lines(return or no return). But I'm sure it'll work. But it just might be work fixing the 05.

Thanks for reply ive read a few things and ive seen the fuel lines will have to be changed along with motor mounts but i agree it will be worth it just time consuming doing it alone lol
