I have an intermittent low oil level light that comes on from time to time. I have changed the oil level sensor and changed the oil and filter. The oil is at the proper level. Anyone else have this problem?
the pcm turns the light on when the switch circuit opens. you probably have a bad grd connection or bad wire.
when the problem is active, disconnect the sensor connector and check for voltage on the brown wire. if thats ok, jumper the pin connectors together, the light should go out. if it does not, jumper the brown wire to grd. if the light goes out, the grd is bad or the grd wire is bad.
