May be buying a '06 Silverado 1500
Hey, Folks. New guy here.
I'm thinking of buying the '06 truck and would like some advice on what to look out for. A few details:
4.8L motor, 155k miles, well maintained (oil change history, brakes, little stuff)
Extended cab, GM bed liner, body in good condition except for through rust on both rocker panels
Interior in good condition. All switches work, a/c, heat, cruise...all appear to be functioning
I've looked at a couple of the 'problem' sites on the net and it appears that about everything that does go wrong is earlier in mileage than 155,000.
I'm going to have a Md. inspection done before the deal is closed although I would like your inputs as far as what I might expect.
