Default Mod to a 3 flash signal

My other vehicles have a convenient 3 flash turn signal for lane changing that I really would like to do to my 2000 Silverado.

Has anyone tried this or thought about it?
I'm wondering if it's as simple as changing the signal relay.

what vehicles do you have this on?

I assume its built into the module that controls the signal lights... bcm....and that is yet another reason why modules control everything on cars nowadays...

I'm sure it's a BCM thing, and has nothing to do with the flasher module.

GMT900 and newer trucks have the feature.

Most newer vehicles do - my 2016 Wrangler and 2015 Taurus both have it as well.

It's on my '10 Escalade and has been on several of the Ford company pick up trucks I've had.
