codes Well I bought this truck the other month because I needed a truck with a bigger motor to haul my boat. Seeems like it is always something. The other week my check engine light come on so I went to auto zone to get it scanned. Came up po445 evap canister ., So I got a new 1 it said new revised version ac delco put it in wow ,.,cool check engine light was out right away. a day later check engine light came on again. Back to auto zone now code po449 came up electrical connection .. so I bought a ac delco connector AND SPLICED IT IN. well I forgot to add the evap canister was changed before I bought it. the pigtail harness was cut and looks like both the wires go up the frame rail I didn't trace them both the whole way but looks like the 1 wire from evap canister goes whole way up and goes under fuse block under hood. , NOW THIS IS WEIRD. THE WIRES that where connected to evap canister where red and green. the wires on new pigtail where different colors but I made sure they where hooked up the same way. Any help on where these 2 wires SHOULD GO would help me out or why I was getting code po445 then changed the canister then day later get code p0449 electrical connection . Why wouldn't I get both codes at first?
