Default My old Chevy

I’m Juliette and I had a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.8L extended cab purchased for me. I love my truck but there are a few issues.

My first being that the check engine light comes on when I try to pass someone or going over tall bridges. But it comes on after I let off the gas once I’ve topped the bridge. It doesn’t seem to have enough power to keep it up to speed going over the bridge. 2 codes come up P0455 and P0332 for knock sensor and EVAP system large leak. When pumping gas it continuously clicks the pump off. And something is draining my battery. Other than that it runs great!

But my most perplexing issue is with the AC. When I start my truck the AC will freeze you out idling. It only blows on setting 3 and not at all for the Defroster, but for one day it worked on 1,2,3 & 5. When I’m going down the road it doesn’t stay cold and the clutch keeps stopping. If I pull over and tap the clutch it comes back on. But not for long for me. I’ve read possible problems till I’m blue in the face. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on maybe’s and I don’t know what to start with. Please someone help a girl out! I have the knock sensors with connectors in my cart on Amazon along with a vapor canister purge valve solenoid but I haven’t purchased yet because I’m unsure that’s what I need.

UPDATE: the compressor clutch stopped working altogether. It now does nothing when I tap on it.
Also on the obdii it shows catalysts, O2 HO2 & EVAP not ready.
