Default No power locks unless key is off

no power windows either way, I only got the locks working in off position by cleaning DDM boards with alcohol...back windows work from their respective positions, pass mirror does t work, having said all this i have suspected lately this truck had a bad computer, does many funny things very inconsistently, this includes today at autozone tried to have codes read and the guy has worked there many years and it was the first time he’s ever had a car not Ble to complete the scan sequence, it wouldn’t let him reset them either, I have unhooked the battery many times for at least 20 minutes, also I only know how to test the 12v on the ddm which I’ve done, would like help getting further with this, my biggest auto weakness is DEF electrical, also just fixed a/c after maybe 8 full hours yesterday and it turned out to be a bad connection on the compressor BUT only figured this out messing with it having JUMPERED compressor relay, new relay does nothing, won’t work without the cheater wire, plz help if u have ideas with this thanks. And I’m new to the forum so I appologize for any faux pas/etc committed.

With what you are describing , I'd say body control module. That module controls windows, locks ect.

One other thing, post make model. If it is a problem with the BCM, you need a code reader that will read those codes.

I’ve taken it to autozone and O’Reillys and both places have said that the OBD II’s inability to make a connection with the vehicles computer was a first for them

I had a whole big issue with my ignition cylinder a while back, and I was able to take the car to a locksmith, surprisingly.

Not sure if they would work on a lock problem like this, but I was surprised at how well the guy knew what he was doing. Not a mechanic, but when it came to the locks, he seemed to know everything.

Might be worth looking into if the guys at Autozone and O'Reilly's can't help you and you are just looking for experts.

Had speakers installed free today and I’m doing so he took the other front door panel off as well(the
Driver remained off) and apparently Just unplugging both modules for a while fixed it all somehow, crazy, but that means I still have an issue with the A/c requiring jumpered relay
