Default O2 Sensors, 01 chevy silverado 1500.

Is anybody able to tell me where the o2 sensors are, how many there are and what sensors im going to need? looking to replace them very soon. Thanks alot!

But you can check online catalogs like rockauto.com to see what your truck needs and part numbers. I would stick to OEM brand.

don't fix what aint broken.
But you can check online catalogs like rockauto.com to see what your truck needs and part numbers. I would stick to OEM brand.
Its a 4.8l v8 but thanks alot man i appreciate your help!

You will have a total of 4 O2 sensors. As mountainmanjoe stated, each bank will have 2 O2 sensors. Also, upstream O2 sensors are typically not the same a the downstream O2 sensors.

If you find that you do need to change them, you are best served by purchasing either GM Genuine or Denso O2 sensors.
