Parking brake issues
2003 Silverado 2500 HD. Replacing rear (disc) brakes. Is it possible to remove and replace the rear parking shoes with out having to remove the wheel hub? Parking brake is sticking. I think that if I took it apart, cleaned and lubricated it all would be fine. My shop manual is not very helpful. It says to remove retaining pins and return springs. I can get to the pins, but it looks very difficult to reach the return springs with the wheel hub installed. Is there a work around? Thanks.
