I am looking at getting a different pickup.
I am looking for a 2005 ish Chevy or GMC, 4x4, crew cab, short bed
I have a bulter bale bed I plan on putting on it.
I think I am want the 6.0 v8, I have seen decent deals on the 6.6 duramax,.
I have been looking for a 2500 but have not found any I like.
Now I see the 1500HD. It's got me thinking.
Do you the the 1500HD is heavy enough to haul a single round bale?
Does the 2500 and 1500HD share the same bed?

the 1500 hd should have the same cargo capacity as 2500...it has the same chassis, axles, motor, springs as the 2500.

check the glove box sticker....its lists the trucks max trailer tow weight and cargo weight... ie what goes in the box....

 

I bought a 03 gmc cc 4x4 1500HD.
My question is my center console button is missing. Nothing looks broken just the button and spring is missing.
Anyone have a source for parts like this?
Also I want to up grade my head light. I was thinking about the halo head lights. Any thoughts?
Also is the stock head light bulb pretty good or is their another one that is better?
