Default po405

I recently got a code of po405 so I ran down the wiring and the wiring has the right amount of current so I bought a new egr valve and for about a week everything was fine but now the code is pending. where else should I be looking?

An improper voltage signal is sent to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the EGR valve

Could be a bad DPFE Sensor too..
