The radio on my 2001 Silverado will not pick up FM stations. It will automatically tune into them when I scan. If i turn the volume all the way up I can slightly hear the stations, but it is mainly white noise. I checked the antenna to make sure it was connected good to the car and also that the wire was fully into the back of the deck. Could the radio just be dead? The CD player hasnt worked for years.

Just looking for thoughts before i go out and buy a new deck.
