Radio not working, even after unlocking.
Found out how to turn it on and operate it. I can't find how to delete this thread so I'll just leave it here I suppose.
My grandpa recently gifted me his 2000 Silverado, which he hasn't turned on in over a year. It has a few problems, but the one I'd like to address now is this:
The radio won't turn on, won't react to any button presses, won't switch to AM/FM/CD etc.
I replaced the battery, and assumed the radio had been locked because that's what I read online. I went through the process of unlocking it, and set a code. According to the guide, my radio should be working now.
I might just be oblivious on how to operate it, so if you can provide a quick way to tell if it's broken or if I can do something different, that'd be appreciated.
