I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 4.3 v6 5 speed manual transmission. When I have it in reverse and sitting still, the reverse lights are on constant; however, when I'm driving in reverse they flash intermittently. I thought maybe my stick was pressing the sensor as it shook but not issue. anyone else experience this?. If it's a short, I would think the fuse would blow.

 

More than likely it is a loose or bad connection, probably in the ground circuit. A loose or bad connection will not blow a fuse. A dead short will.
