Unhappy rpo code vs. vin lookup

Decided to so some work on my old truck Brakes and stuff so I go to order some parts and the websites are asking questions I was not prepared for I found the VIN lookup tool here which is just awesome Anyway...on the VIN summery it lists my engine as a LM7...with MFI in the description...but a little bit down the page it has FUEL SYSTEM SFI so how can I tell the difference? I also have a few other little things that dont seem to make sense to ask about too but lets start here please if someone could help...thank you

Default

MFI = multi-port fuel injection
SFI = Sequential fuel injection.

If you'd like to learn more about what those mean, you can go ahead and read the fuel injection Wikipedia article. But basically they go together. Sequential implies multi-port.
