I've got a 2006 Silverado 1500 with the common intermittent no-start issue that I've traced to the ignition switch, and I'm having trouble finding an OEM part without having to go to a dealer and pay those high prices.
Any idea where to find part number GM 15242754 for under $60? Thanks ahead.
PS All the links that google comes up with are 'out of stock.'

The GM Genuine/ACDelco part you cite (15242754) has been discontinued and is no longer available. I suggest you get one of the following - Standard Motor Products (non T series), Delphi, BWD (non P series) or NAPA Echlin.

Good Luck!
Thanks for the recommendations chem_man. The Standard non T series ignition switch I found at Oreillys had iffy reviews. The Echlin at NAPA is the same price. I'll prob go for that one.
