Shouldn't have to cut anything. They're made to fit a double din in there from factory. May have to trim a tab or two in there depending on what size radio you get. But that'll be somethin you run across on the install

Forgive me for hijacking thread.
I have the original (factory installed) radio still in my dash. Silverado SS 2003. Radio has power and seems to work fine, but I have no sound!
I kicked out an expensive after market booster thing that crowded my space to much. I can see a red and a white speaker cable with plugs at the end when I open the lower part of the dash.
But I can't figure out how to open the top part so I can get to the radio and plug them in. Any suggestions?
