Default Stramge noise - 05 Silverado 1500, 5.3L

Hey guys, I'm getting an odd noise that I thought was an E-brake problem after looking online. It's kind of a clicking noise at first but quickly turns into a grinding noise. It is very loud. It happens more when I turn but also when going straight. Occasionally it will make no noise at all, but lately it's much worse and practically constant even at very low speeds or barely moving. I've parked it for now.

There is no wobble while driving like when a hub goes bad, but imI not ruling that out. When I turn the steering wheel while stopped there is no noise.

I've changed the rear shoes and drums which were way overdue and I'm pretty sure I have the E-brake adjusted correctly

My next step is to troubleshoot the front end since the E-brake got me nowhere. What should I look for? I'll test the hub just to make sure. I know my inner tie rod is a little loose, could that have caused all of this? How can I test that? I can't really drive it anywhere due to its condition and I really don't want to tow it.

Did you look at the front brakes?

I did, but only with the wheels on so far. The rotors seem to be fine looking from the outside.

I've caught a pretty bad cold and won't be working in this 100+ degree weather while I'm sick, so hopefully this weekend I'll get the front jacked up and I'll take the callipers off and look at everything. The noise doesn't get worse when I use the brakes though
