I have an 06 Silverado LT 2wd. Got around 257,000 miles on it. Wanting to get more power out of the old girl. Any relatively cheap tricks?

I guess I should mention that it’s the 4.8 v8 engine.

also, where are you guys getting your wheel spacers from?

wheel spacers are not dot approved in canada...not the best idea imo.
the 4.8 is weak when new.
check fuel pressure...a common cause of lack of power. the fuel filter is part of the pump and not serviceable.
