I have a 2002 silverado. 5.3 4x4 . I have a problem with the transmission. When I bought the truck, 2nd to 3rd was a little iffy. It finally went so I purchased a used one which I saw work perfectly before it was pulled. Installed it and it wouldn't shift past 2nd gear. Took it back
and got another transmission. Installed that one and same problem. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

i had a 99 jimmy that would not come out of 4 wheel drive...it is a eclictric plugs that have to be hook up in order.it like you using a paddle shifter on it and the soliceno are wire up wrong
