Default Transmission Questions.
Hey guys, so I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 with an auto 4 speed (I believe it's a 4l60e). I know the trans is starting to go so I'm looking for a new trans or to upgrade the trans. I can get a killer deal on a 700r4 trans out of a 2wd 1990 truck that's been seriously upgraded. Would this trans fit in my 4x4 truck? Any help would be awesome!

Negative. Would look for a 4L60e from 2000-2006 truck with 4wd

Will not fit without modification. For direct bolt in you will want what country said.
