On my 2003 Silverado SS I occasionally get the engine code P1516 in moist conditions. Sometimes it even reduces power so the car only limps forward. Mostly it goes away if I turn off the engine and start again.
I have used the code reader to delete the history code, but eventually problem comes back.

Is there any particular part that can break down and set off this code?
