Default Unknown wire connector

Hello everyone. I'm new to the site but have owned chevys for a long time. I currently have a new addition to the family...a 2006 silverado 4x4 w/t 4.8. It was to good of a deal to pass up with only 3500 miles on the truck. Anyway my question is I removed the trim that goestrogen around cluster/radio ect...I removed the headlight switch and vent area and there is a flat gray connector taped to the harness. It has 4 wires (2) Brown w/ white strips (1) solid Brown (1) black w/ white strip. Any idea what this is for??

If it's close to the cargo light switch,,, I'd say it's for optional fog light switch.
