First, have you scanned for any codes?
Regarding spark plugs, I would go with an ACDelco spark plug, likely a double platinum (same kind that the factory put in). These engines don't like non-ACDelco plugs. You could always go with the equivalent NGK spark plug as the ACDelco plugs are manufactured by NGK. Oh yeah, watch out for too good to be true ACDelco spark plug pricing on ebay as they are likely counterfeit plugs.
For spark plug wires, I have had good luck with Standard Motor Products, BWD Select, and Carquest Premium spark plug wire sets. Just make sure you get the correct set which is dependent upon the coil used from the factory - a square coil or a round coil. There will be number stamped into the coil right above where the spark plug wire plugs into that you can compare to the ACDelco replacement coil and find out if it's a square (or Mitsubishi) coil or a round (Delphi) coil.
As far as replacing the ignition coils go, if the engine is running fine and there aren't any misfire codes, then they do not need to be replaced. The factory coils are pretty stout and can last a long, long, time.
Good luck (from an Omaha native)!
