Hey guys. I have on 03 silverado 2500hd duramax and the window stopped working all of the sudden. Its the front passenger window. When i try and roll it down i can hear a faint click from the passenger side. I can do the work and take the door panel off but what part do i need to replace? Wires, regulator, motor?

 

Most likely the regulator. Common issue with those trucks. I had to do two on my '01 Burb. Haven't checked in a few years, but there used to be tons of them on eBay, for well under $50.

 

is there a way to tell if it is the regulator or motor? i dont want to install a new one to find out it was the motor or vise versa

 

and just out of curiosity what mpg do you get on your 08 burb. i have the 12 2500 and the best i can get city is 10 if i drive like an angel
