2 inch level

I know these questions are asked a lot but I’m having a hard time finding answers. I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 non z71 and I was wondering with a 2 inch level if I would be able to fit a 285/70/17 tire? On the factory rims. The original tire size is 265/70/17 so not much bigger. Thanks

should be able too i have 275/70/20,s with a 2in level i did have some small rubbing but if you dont want to cut you will need to get a 3in level

Thanks for the response, I should be alright then since my rims are only 17in
