Smile 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT

Hey folks, I bought a used 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT with the 5.3L back in February and have steadily been customizing it since. It has 170000 miles on it with no issues, been well maintained, it runs and drives excellent ! Anyways since I have successfully maintained my other vehicles myself, I figured I would ask you guys about any advice or things to look out for going forward. I understand many people have deleted the AFM due to the lifter issues it causes. Would this be something I should look into, at this point or not worry about it? I plan on starting some normal maintenance type items like new plugs and wires, motor mounts fairly soon, front struts/shocks, rear shocks in the spring. I have already replaced the front brake pads and hardware after I bought it, I replace the front stabilizer end links, alternator and battery are less than 1 yr old, replaced AC drier and orofice tube along with one of the pressure switches and a recharge, new Michelin tires, front wheel bearings were replaced late last year along with a rear diff fluid change and tranny fluid change. I have also replaced all of the outside chrome plastic door handles and tail gate latches, replace climate control unit due to worn off buttons, tonneau cover, roll on bedliner, fog lights, and a heavy duty grille guard. So yeah I have been making progress! If any of you have tips or advice to share I would sure appreciate to hear it!
