I had to replace my 2008 Silverado knee bolster and had to do so with a 2011 because the 2008 ones are discontinued and all the used ones I found didn’t match my trim. So the 2011 one doesn’t have the spot for the parking brake release so I just tucked it up under the dash. I found a parking brake assembly on eBay from a 2010 Silverado. Has anyone done this or have any knowledge if I can swap the two so I can just press to release instead of having a cable and handle.
