Hey everyone,
This is my first post here. I wasn't sure where else to go. I've had my Silverado for a little over a year. The past 6 months I've had an issue while driving it. I'm not sure what's causing it. My check engine light will come on and I lose power to the engine. It usually spins right back up on it's own and the check engine light goes off. When it happens, the truck jerks forward, revs and my gas guage changes. It can go from a little under half to a little over 3/4. I've had the codes read and they said there isn't anything showing up. It's getting more frequent and I can't really afford to take it anywhere to have it checked. Anyone have any suggestions on what the issue could be?
