2 questions.

First - I unwrapped and routed the block heater cable for the first time about a week ago.
Shortly after using the block heater and driving I got an error a cross the the dic saying "engine hot ac turned off".
​​​​I scanned for codes and got p0116. The ect was reading not showing an over temp (208f).
I replaced the ect as it was original, the connector and wire looked great.
Cleared the code and same message across the dic.
Pulled ECM fuse for 20 seconds and all was well again.
7 more days of bellow freezing and no issues.
​​​​​Used the block heater again and it happened again.
​​​​​​Pulled fuse and message gone.
What is the problem and how do I fix it???


Second - How do I wire up the low beams to stay on with high beams?
