Default 2012 Silverado 1500 battery gage trouble

I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 this is the 4th alternator I have put on the a month and a half’s time. First 3 came from Napa and the last one came from GM and is a acdelco. I don’t know what else to do.

This indication caught my eye when my 2012 truck was new - the "smart" battery charger does not send 14.4v to the battery at all times, only when needed. When it takes a break, it only indicates battery voltage, as in your photo. Maybe you have another issue, but this indication was bothersome to me until I understood what the system was doing.
