Default 2012 Silverado OEM stereo value

I have an OEM stereo out of a 2012 Sulverado 1500. The screen is cracked but other than that it works well from what I remember. Is there any value to it or should I just toss it? Thought someone might want it for internal parts, buttons, outer casing, etc.?

Keep it as a backup, or for troubleshooting, or sell it . A new unit costs $1,000 and they're built to last. Where are you located by the way?

I replaced it with an aftermarket unit so I don't have a reason to keep it. I'm wondering if it has any value or if I should just toss it.

Does the crack keep the screen from lighting up and working?

Yes, it does go in and out. From what I remember, it's on most of the time but when the screen does go out it only comes back on when it wants to. I tried hitting the dash and sometimes that worked to turn it back on but not often. The sound always worked though. The two problems are the screen and the aux port are both touchy.
