2012 malibu LS…I would like to install an aftermarket stereo with a 4channel amplifer…from what research I've done so far is confusing…already started on replacing the speakers ( that the easy part) but with the electronics in the car it gets a little complicated…It seems you need some kind of interface module, I can't pinpoint the one that will work. a fella at best buy said I could use this item..by truconnex called a ""line output converter TCLOC2, seems I'd need 2 of them one for front channel and one for rear???
I don't care if I loose onstar or serus radio, just want good sounds, but Don't want to screw up any electronics by removing the OEM radio…If anyone could guid me in this transition it would be highly appericiated…
