I just bought this car used. Seller (a Hyundai dealer) told me it has a tow capacity of 8200 pounds. I checked the RPO codes, it doesn't have K5L or GU6 or KNP (heavy duty tow package, 3.42 differential ratio, transmission cooler).

What is my Towing capacity? I tow a 6,000 pound boat / trailer.

If you don't have the 3.42 axles, then your towing rating is 5500 if it's 2wd, or 5200 lbs if it's 4wd.
