So I jump in truck to head to work this morning and notice my radio is not playing I turn volume up still no sound try to change station nothing happens. Only functions I have is on/off or changing from xm to regular stations but no volume channel change its like its locked out.any ideas

 

Welcome from Florida. As always with electrical problems, check all of your fuses first before trying anything else. There could be more than one fuse for the radio depending on what system you have. They may also be marked other than radio like accessory.
