Default 2013 4.8 silverado over heating

So I have a 2013 4.8 silverado and my issue at the moment is that I cannot drive uphill due to the trans temp increasing dramatically. This is without towing anything and just driver in the truck. my normal running temp is usually 180 but any incline will raise it up to 200 and about 10 min later it'll be at 230. is there anything I could do to prevent this from happening or atleast not have it reach temps of 220+? fans have been checked and working properly, trans has been flushed etc.

Does your Chevy Pickup have a transmission oil cooler? Yeah 230 F is getting too close to 240 F, which is as hot as it should ever get. Lots of good transmission oil coolers, with Hayden being one of the best out there. In the meantime, I'd shift out of overdrive on an incline, if it doesn't downshift, which should help cool it down a little.
