Hi all! I have a 2013 Silverado with the 4.8l flex fuel Chevy Vortec engine, that I am currently running E85 in. And as I take off, there is a strange rattle or tick coming from in between the engine and transmission. And higher RPMs I cannot hear it due to the wind and speed yet at lower RPMs. I can hear it and it is consistent with the amount of pressure I put on the throttle. Hence, the harder I push on the throttle, the more consistent the ticking is. I have heard of the exhaust manifold issues and intake valve issues yet. I don’t think this is either.
