Default 2013 Silverado Reduced Engine Power / Stabilitrak issue

My family and I were watching a Christmas light show tonight while sitting in my idleing 2013 Silverado. We were there for about 20 minutes when the engine shut down and I got an error message flashing between Reduced Engine Power and Stabilitrak disabled. I was unable to start the truck back up immediately so after about 5 minutes it finally allowed me to start it again. The check engine light remained on as we took off toward home driving with caution. Luckily I was prepared as we made it about a mile down the road when the engine shutdown again and I lost all power steering and was very difficult to brake. I coasted into a parking lot and almost over the edge of an enbankment because of the brakes.

Once stopped I was able to get the truck started again and took it to my nearest dealership for work on it tomorrow. Next to the dealership was an Autozone so I stopped there first to have the code run and give me an idea of what was wrong. The print out says it is the Electronic Control Module.

I had just taken the truck in about a month ago to have 8 lifters and some rods replaced because of ticking noises. Don't know if this is related or not. I'll find out tomorrow. Just sucks to have motor issues all the time with my trucks. Had same issues with my 2010 with the AFM motor.

Seeing a lot of the same Engine Reduced Power issues in the forums but mostly on cars. Anyone else having similar issues with their Silverado?
