2013 Woes need advise
Hello all. I have a 2013 1500 4dr with 47,000 miles obviously 4 going on 5 years. long time GM supporter and only have owned GM. Recently I'v been in contact with GM and have not been able to come to a resolution with them. A case number has been created. All 4 of my rims are genuine GM accessories put on at the time of the order of the truck along with the step bars. The rims are corroding around the valve stems with the chrome ready to start peeling. The step bars the Chrome is peeling like tree bark with no corrosion at all. It has been brought to GM's attention and recognized as a manufacture defect. GM parts replacement estimate is 3000 plus dollars. they only offered 900.00 to help. I understand its not in the 3 year 36,00 mile warranty any more. But this is unacceptable for a 4 year old low mileage truck! This was a 50,000 dollar truck with a extended GM warranty as well. What should I do they wont work with me at all. I have some pics to follow. Please spread the word for help
