Default 2014 Silverado not starting

So....this is my first time on this forum so I’m not 100% on what to do. But my truck just stopped working this morning. I went out to start it and the whole instrument panel light up and radio came on...but when I turned the key to start it I got nothing. I’ve been searching around a bit to try and troubleshoot things, but now I’m stuck. I’m hoping it isn’t the starter, so I’m trying to rule things out. I have sanded down the ground wire behind the front passenger side wheel to get a better ground. I took the battery in to get tested (it was fine). Sanded down the leads on the battery cables, checked the starter fuse and replaced the starter relay. I don’t hear any noise when I turn the key (I.e. fuel pump). Any other suggestions before I have to have it towed to the mechanic for a new starter? (I don’t think I have the know how to pull the old one)

Don't trust the auto parts places to correctly check your battery out. I bought a new one from one of them that quit after a year. They put it on their battery tester and ONE employee said it was good. The other decided I was an honest man( I told them it would not start unless I jumped it, or put a trickle charger on it all for a few days(it was like 9-10 volts sitting) and to replace that battery with a new one and it worked just fine for a very long time. That alone might be your issue.

I did. I went out and bought myself a starter this morning. About to get into the garage and attempt to change it. Wish me luck.

Do you hear the solenoid click when you turn the key? Check your ground cable, I've seen that cause issues. Also check the connections at the starter and make sure there is no corrosion.
