I have a 2007.5 VortecMax Silverado. Shortly after I bought the truck I had the notorious service Traction control/stabilitrak issue with very hard shifts, but after the engine oil was changed it seemed to completely fix the issue. Well 3k miles later and the truck starts shifting very hard again except all the time. And only sometimes will I get a service traction control/stabilitrak light.
So this weekend I replaced the oil pan, pickup tube oring, changed the oil, and replaced the screen below the sending unit. That didn’t fix the problem. I also dropped the transmission pan and replaced the 1-2 accumulator not long ago.
Codes being thrown:
engine p0011
trans p0705 and p0961
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: after changing oil p0011 hasn’t returned yet, but still shifting hard.
thinking maybe the tcm??
