Hi, I just installed a new ABS Control Module on my 2009 Silverado 6.0L LTZ. As I am still getting the warning lights on the dash, does anyone know if the new module needs to be programmed, likely using a scan tool?

 

yes, new modules from the dealer need programming. it requires more than a scan tool. the programming is downloaded from a web based server to an interface that sends the info to the module
