AFM lifter issue 144,000 miles

2008 suburban ltz 5.3 with AFM

lifter bad, is there a perfmance cam kit that can be installed that will still work with this system and ECM will adjust, such as the ls1 camshaft

Have a chat with the guys at Comp Cams. They should be able to let you know if it makes sense.

I'm thinking of just upgrading to a 6.2 liter crate. Looking into what Pcm programmng would have to be done
