Hi,
Just purchased an ‘07 2500HD/6.0 Vortec and wanting to identify any viable Fuel Economy upgrades and Increased Longevity upgrades.

I’m retired. Will use it for occasional daily driving and pulling the boat and RV approx twice per month.

Wanting to do viable “upgrades” to help increase its lifespan and increased fuel economy would be nice.

Use good brand synthetic lubricants in everything, even transmission fluid and axle lubes. Change your motor oil often,; use good gasoline's; use iridium plugs when needed, keep your air cleaner, clean always. Keep your coolant clean and change when needed. Keep your tires inflation up to par, of course. And keep it out of old Sol if you can.
