I purchased 2011 in 2014 with extended warranty. Warranty is about up and I am considering added a lift kit so I can mount 33" tall radial mud tires. Truck currently has 20" dia. rims and street tires. Local tire dealer stated that tires are 32.5" profile height. But, they suck for the woods. I am considering adding body lift but I don't know if it would help. A fellow Duramax owner told me that even with his suspension lift (I think 6") that he still couldn't mount 36" tires without rubbing. 33" tall tires was the best he could mount w/o rubbing. Would a 3" body lift give me any more freedom or would it only give me a better appearance? A new set of mud radials and rims will set me back 2 grand. If I would gain much with 3" body lift, I don't see wasting the money. Wife will complain too!
