Good evening everyone, new to the site and new to the truck. Just bought my son an 09 4.8 Silverado for his first truck. I have noticed my brake lights come on them cut off and flicker a little in between.

once I notice I payed attention to the brakes and while holding down you can hear a click in the dash then the brake light turns off.

any idea what could be causing the clicking sound?! RELAY? But would not think there would be one in the dash.

Any help would be appreciated as we are trying to gift him this weekend. And I know he is going to want and burn the roads up
