Default Cabin Air Filter 2013 Chevy Silverado

Does the 2013 Chevy Silverado extended cab have a cabin air filter? The parts stores say yes, the Chevy Dealer says no. What is the correct response? How can it be changed

Rock Auto says your vehicle has a cabin air filter. Part number # ACDELCO CF1194. Most outside air inlets are on the passenger side, usually somewhere behind the glove box or below it. Should have a cover door to seal it in, might take a screwdriver to pop the door out. Most decent vehicles since the late 2000's have a cabin air filter. Helps keep dust out of the passenger compartment and keeps your heater core and AC evaporator from getting all messed up with dust and other pollutants.

Your dealer is a fool. You can easily change that out whereas, their shop would probably charge you $50 or more dollars to do a simple task that takes less then half an hour, if even that, to do.
