Default Can't tell if Transmission is going bad or bad module.

I have a 09 Silverado crew cab lt z71. Here a couple weeks ago I had to slam on the brakes. After that the truck seemed to of got a studder. I finally got home after limping it back 60 miles. The next day I changed all the plugs and checked all the wires. When it was done drove OK for maybe a block then started to shudder really bad the the trany stop working. Then later that night we to push it home and started up went right into gear and drove 4 blocks the quit again. We got it shoved the garage next day crawled under it checking for maybe a broke wire or something. Got done with that didn't find anything the truck backed out turned around in the street then backed up into the driveway. So I'm trying to figure if I need to get the tranny replaced or what.

The old adage , if it won't go in drive, but reverse, usually doe's apply to a turbo 350.

Could be a shift soleniod. I'd replace the fluid before doing anything drastic.

I'll try changing the fluid first. Changing the shift solenoid you have to pull valve body. Read someplace that it was better to change the whole valve body then just the soleniod and aftermarket one corrects stock imperfections.
