Hello I have a 2011 Chevy 1500 with a 5.3 and a 6 speed transmission. We just bought it about a month ago used from a Kia dealership and i checked the transmission fluid the other day and it’s clear. Is this right? Here is a picture. Thanks

hard to say. the korean built gm cars that are sold in north america come filled with clear trans fluid....from what i understand...they dont add dye to the fluid in korea. Call the dealership and see if they can confirm what fluid type is in it. IMO, If you cant confirm whats in it...have the entire fluid capacity exchanged.
It’s supposed to be Dexron VI which is bright red. I would recommend taking it in and getting it flushed to Dextron VI. Who knows what they put in there?
